So, you all know I'm a cinema freak, right? I love movies!! And I watch tons of them at any chance I get.
But there are some movies that, even though I've always wanted to watch and that are literally at the top of my list, I just never had!
Therefore, today I'm sharing some of those with you, so you can tell me if you have watched them and what did you think!
And if you haven't watched these, yet you're been meaning to since literally 4ever, you are not alone!!!
1. Kill Your Darlings
I recently got the DVD of this movie, so I'm pretty sure it will be out of this list soon!
I've been in love with Daniel Radcliffe ever since the 1st HP movie (like everyone else...), but it has been a while since I figured that he could go much farther as an actor! Lots of times, when actors take part on such a popular project, that become marked for life in a way that never lets them branch out to other places. But that isn't the case with him at all! He fought for his rightful place in the industry, and got it! Even though you can never look at him and not think of the adorable little wizard, anyone can see how much more he has to give.
Dane DeHaan, on the other hand, is a recent find for me. Yet, I think of him as one of the most promising actors in the industry right now. He isn't even 30 yet, but he has already taken up some pretty tough and mature roles! I can't wait to see where he goes.
The movie is about the literary world (which I adore) and it is historical (which I also adore). I love biographical movies, so this one is pretty much a huge combo of things/people I love!
Why haven't I watched it yet?
2. Toast
This movie features my favorite young actor, Freddie Highmore, and one one my all time favorite actresses, Helena Bonham Carter.
Freddie Highmore is literally my favorite! There hasn't been a movie of him that I haven't watched (except for this one; and I also have yet to see his series, Bates Motel), and he has not once disappointed me. To me, he is the best!
Helena Bonham Carter needs no introduction. She's just genius!
The movie is also biographical, and it's about food!!!! Who doesn't love food??
3. Nowhere Boy
Yet another biography!
Can you not want to watch a movie about The Beatles?
I actually don't know Aaron Taylor-Johnson's work very well, I feel like I've seen him somewhere, but I can't quite put my finger on it... Still, if he was chosen to play on of the best musicians in the world, then I'm expecting a lot!!
And then, we have my lovely Thomas Brodie-Sangster playing Paul McCartney! If you read my The Maze Runner Review, you know I really like him, so it's obvious how much I want to watch this movie.
I just bought this DVD, along with Kill Your Darling, so this is another one which will be out of this list very very soon!
4.Behind The Candelabra
I do not know why I haven't watched this, seriously!
It has everything for me to love it: it's a biography (shocker...), it has fantastic actors (Matt Damon and Michael Douglas, anyone?) and it's about music!
Plus, I've only heard great things about it!!
Someone please give it to me as a gift! Pleeeease!!!!
5. The Village
Come on, a 2004 movie?? Haven't you had enough time to watch it Ella??
I know I know... I don't understand myself either!
I have heard all the amazing this about this movie. Even my mom has told me to watch it many many times, yet I still haven't! How bad am I? Very...
If an all-star cast and amazing reviews weren't enough, the subject is super up my alley!
But now that I've included it here, I'll have to watch it... FAST!!
Well guys, that's it for today!
Hopefully I'll watch all of these soon and review the for you all ;)
Tell me: Have you watched any of these movies? What did you think??
