So yeah, I'm a day late, I know!
But I also had a Halloween party yesterday that I didn't go to because I spent all day lying down or sitting because of an awful pain in my back... So I think I had my punishment alright!
Please forgive me!!
Anyway!!
Forgetting the fact that this year's Halloween was pretty much a fail for me, Halloween it's still one of my favorite days in the entire year!!
With that being said, Halloween themed movies are some of my favorite types of movies EVER!!
I watch them all year around!!
So here are mt TOP 5 Halloween Movies:
5. Hocus Pocus
Everyone's favorite witch sisters!! I mean come on, how can you not love this movie!!
It's so much fun! It gets me in the Halloween spirit every time!
Funny and smart, suitable for all ages, and even thought you can't consider it scary at all (the truth is I love Halloween and creepy things, but horror isn't my cup of tea) it has a dark aura that's very subtle yet interesting!
4. Edward Scissorhands
Tim Burton (my favorite director) + Johnny Depp (one of my favorite actors ever) = BRILLIANT ART
This movie is just so good!!
I'll say this: when I was younger, it gave me the creeps!! It did scare me!!
But now, even thought it does still give me the chills, I can just appreciate how amazing this piece of art!
3. Halloweentown
Can you disagree with this choice? Obviously not!!
I mean let's all be honest here, we all wish our grandma would come up to us on a beautiful Halloween day and tell us that we have magical powers and that we can travel to an awesome magical land where it's pretty much Halloween all year!! Right???
2. Twitches
Ah, hello!
Finding out you have a tween sister and that you both have awesome powers? And that you have a palace in a magical land? Yes please!!
This was my most watched movie for years!!
1. The Nightmare Before Christmas
Being the animation lover I am, and being the Tim Burton fan I am, I just HAD to chose this movie has my all time favorite Halloween movie!
It doesn't only get you in the Halloween mood, it also already gets you exited for Christmas.
It's perfect! My two favorite holidays in one!!
Plus, the characters are truly amazing and the aura of the movie is so dark yet somewhat child like (like in every Tim Burton movie pretty much...).
It's perfect!!
