Inspirashion: The Shannara Chronicles

If you used to follow It's a Fashionable Life, you will know what that tittle means!!

Inspirashion is back!

For those of you who don't know, Inspirashion is where I look for fashion inspiration in things like movies, series, books... Anything really!

I love mixing and matching my passions, and this type of posts does just that! 

Anyway, into the actual post!

The Shannara Chronicles is a new MTV series, inspired in the books by Terry Brooks, featuring Austin Butler, Poppy Drayton, Ivana Baquero, Manu Bennet, John Rhys-Davies, among others.

It's a fantasy/adventure series about the main character's quest to save their world.

I have yet to read the books, but I definitely will!

So far I'm really enjoying the series! 

The story is moving forward at a steady pace and new things keep happening, which keeps the audience exited.

And yeah I'll admit, the occasional Austin Butler without a shirt moment helps...

I'm a girl with eyes that enjoy to be please, so live with it!

ANYWAY!!!

Into the fashion now!

WILL

Will is a very casual and relaxed person, or at least was until he started fighting creepy monsters...
His style is still pretty carefree and laid-back.
I made his outfit a bit more feminine, but with a still very manly atmosphere.
I really love that light blue shirt with the brown of the jeans, jacket and boots! Kind want this outfit for myself right now...
I added the beanie, the bag, gloves and necklace because these seem to be the signature accessories of the character, and ofc the Elf Stones had to be featured, so I choose to have them represented in the bracelet!

Amberle

Amberle is that type of character that has been seen over and over again, yet still somehow works: the rebel princess!
It's true! Even if they're not really a princess, that are so many 'supposed to be feminine but really just wants to play in the mud with the boys' female characters in the literature/TV/cinema world!
Still, they're easy to relate to, so they're easy to like!
Amberle has one of my favorite fashion styles, she is girly and tomboy at the same time, and I love it!
The details on the top are really feminine, but then the zipper details on the jeans and the style of the boots bring that rough vibe to the outfit. I think the kimono really suits her as well!
She is the only main character with a, let's call it, 'bigger wallet', so she would be the one with a cute purse and a good makeup collection, so  added those.
The arm and ear jewelery give that whimsical feel of an Elf!

Eretria

Am I the only one thinking Lara Croft here? The style is so similar!
Eretria is probably my favorite character! She is your always much loved anti heroine! She's selfish and violent, but has a dark past/present and starts to change as the story unfolds, just like you expect and hope her to.
I like that she is a fighter and that she won't give up until she gets what she wants (even though her way of going at it might not be the one I would personally chose...), and she tries her hardest.
Style wise, she is very earthy and rough.
Browns and military greens fit her personality and her said 'occupation' really well, and so I chose those colour for most of her outfit.
She wears a (now very on trend) leg harness sort of accessory in the series, so I added one, as well as her cute bindi like forehead accent.
Oh and if you look closely you can tell she has lipgloss on the series, and I loooove the color, so I added that too!
